Sovereignty Summit Signal Pass Giveaway – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to the Sovereignty Summit 2027 Signal Pass Giveaway.

By entering the competition, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Competition period

The competition opens on 20 August 2026 and closes at 11:59pm NZST on Friday 28 August 2026.

Entries received after the closing time will not be eligible.

2. Prize

One winner will receive:

• One Signal Pass to Sovereignty Summit 2027
• Sovereignty Summit takes place at Coronet Peak, Queenstown, New Zealand, on 2–3 April 2027

The prize includes the event ticket only.

Flights, accommodation, transport, meals outside those included with the ticket, travel insurance and any other costs associated with attending Sovereignty Summit are the responsibility of the winner.

The prize is not transferable, exchangeable for cash or available for resale.

3. Eligibility

The competition is open to individuals aged 18 years or over.

Employees, contractors and members of the organising team directly involved in running Sovereignty Summit, and their immediate families, are not eligible to enter.

Entrants must be able to attend Sovereignty Summit in Queenstown on 2–3 April 2027.

It is the winner's responsibility to arrange and pay for any travel, accommodation, visas or other requirements necessary to attend the event.

4. How to enter

The competition will be promoted across Instagram, Facebook and X.

Entry requirements vary slightly by platform.

Instagram

To receive one valid entry:

• Comment on the competition post

Facebook

To receive one valid entry:

• Follow the Sovereignty Summit Facebook page
• Like the competition post
• Comment on the competition post

Sharing the post is appreciated but is not required to enter.

X

To receive one valid entry:

• Follow @SovSummitNZ
• Like the competition post
• Repost the competition post

Multiple reposts or repeated duplicate posts will not provide additional entries.

5. Bonus email entry

Entrants may receive one additional entry by subscribing to Sovereignty Summit email updates through the competition subscription form.

Only one bonus email entry is available per person.

By selecting the option to subscribe, entrants consent to receiving marketing and event communications from Sovereignty Summit. Subscribers may unsubscribe at any time.

Entering the social media competition does not automatically subscribe an entrant to email marketing.

6. Multiple platforms

Entrants may enter through more than one eligible social media platform.

Each completed platform entry will count as one entry, provided all entry requirements for that platform have been completed.

A maximum of one valid entry per person per platform will be accepted, plus one optional email subscription bonus entry.

7. Winner selection

Following the closing date, one winner will be randomly selected from all valid entries received across Instagram, Facebook, X and eligible bonus email entries.

The winner will be contacted directly through the social media account used to enter, or by email where applicable.

The winner may be asked to provide their full name and email address so the Signal Pass can be issued.

If the selected winner does not respond within 48 hours of being contacted, Sovereignty Summit reserves the right to select another winner.

8. Winner announcement

The winner may be announced on Sovereignty Summit social media channels after they have been contacted and confirmed.

By accepting the prize, the winner agrees that their first name and/or social media username may be used to announce the result of the competition.

9. Early Bird promotion

The competition is being run during Sovereignty Summit's First Light Early Bird ticket period.

First Light pricing ends on 31 August 2026.

Entry into this competition does not reserve or guarantee an Early Bird ticket price.

Entrants who wish to attend Sovereignty Summit regardless of the competition result should purchase their ticket before the Early Bird deadline.

10. Changes or cancellation

Sovereignty Summit reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the competition where circumstances outside its reasonable control make this necessary.

Any material changes will be communicated through the Sovereignty Summit website or social media channels.

11. Social media platforms

This promotion is administered by Sovereignty Summit.

It is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram, Facebook, Meta, X, LinkedIn or Nostr.

By entering, participants release those platforms from responsibility in connection with the administration of this competition, to the extent permitted by law.

12. Privacy

Personal information collected as part of the competition will be used to administer the giveaway, contact the winner and issue the prize.

Where an entrant separately opts in to Sovereignty Summit email updates, their email address will also be used to send those communications.

Personal information will otherwise be handled in accordance with Sovereignty Summit's privacy practices and applicable New Zealand privacy law.

13. General

Sovereignty Summit's decisions regarding eligibility, valid entries and administration of the competition are final, subject to applicable law.

Any attempt to manipulate the competition, create fraudulent entries or otherwise circumvent these Terms & Conditions may result in entries being disqualified.

The competition is governed by the laws of New Zealand.
