Daniel Batten
Founder, CH4 Capital · Bitcoin Mining Researcher
Daniel Batten is a founder-coach and technology investor who, through an unexpected twist, became a Bitcoin mining researcher, credited for helping shift the narrative on Bitcoin and energy. He co-founded a New Zealand bioinformatics company which exited in 2019, and now runs CH4 Capital, which funds Bitcoin mining that turns landfill methane into power.
Outside Bitcoin, he has taught Art of Living breathwork since 2007 and now lives with his wife and daughters in Costa Rica. He likes turning waste into power, from landfill gas to human potential.
