Entrepreneur, Philanthropist & Co-founder, Bitcoin Learning Center Chiang Mai
Jimmy Kostro is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, investor, and international speaker. After more than 20 years building and scaling businesses, he founded The Kostro Foundation in 2022. In 2023, he co-founded the Bitcoin Learning Center in Chiang Mai, Thailand, which has grown into one of the most active physical Bitcoin education hubs in the world.
Based near the Myanmar border in northern Thailand, Jimmy has developed a deep understanding of Bitcoin as Freedom Money and its role in expanding access, individual freedom, and sovereignty. He has been involved with Bitcoin for nearly a decade and brings that perspective into his work across education, philanthropy, and community development.
An ultra marathon runner, Jimmy is set to run his sixth ultra marathon of the year next week — the same discipline and endurance he brings to his work.
Today, Jimmy speaks internationally about Bitcoin, education, community building, and the systems needed to create lasting impact.
