Tim is an Australian bitcoiner with a background in technology and a keen interest in open source software and grassroots Bitcoin education.
He co-founded the Australian Bitcoin Bush Bash which now encompasses half a dozen full-weekend gatherings each year in remote and regional Australia, where the curious can learn and share about Bitcoin.
Tim is also a volunteer at OpenSats, a US-based charitable foundation that raises and distributes funds to open source projects and developers. These projects include Bitcoin, Nostr, Tor and GrapheneOS and many others that work to materially move the needle on empowering freedom of communication, money and personal resilience.
Tim is the founder at Escape Hatch and proudly leading the team to bring a new type of bitcoin collateralised-lending to market, and fill a gap in the market.
